My group and I got the genre of indie/ alternative. I personally listen to this kind of music so I did my research based off my favorite artist "Dominic Fike". I found what record label he was under and found a list of people signed under Columbia records and I found another artist that I listen to alot. I finalized my two artist "Tame Impala" and "Dominic Fike". Dominic fike has a youtube video interview where he talked about how he got to where he is. Tame Impala had a website which had a background on how he came about. I summarized the two sources and then continue my research. For the rest of the information, websites had detailed reports on target audiences and types of distributions that i needed to use for my project. 

Today, me and my group planned our roles for our schedule. Me and Isabella are working on our indie music video for the song "Tonight". We plan on basing the content on the lyrics, for instance, were gonna have a bar setting and a driving scene. Were also feeding into the indie/ alternative theme by making the music video in a stop motion style. I will also be conducting the research on the background of the artist. I will be looking for things like life experiences and upbringings.
