I had my first preliminary project the other day. To fill you in, we had to make a 15 slide story using various camera angles and shots. To further complicate it, we were only allowed to use inanimate objects as our main characters. For my project, me and my partner decided on driving backpacks as our main characters. The storyline was the driving backpack decides to drive at a dangerous top speed of 120. This does not go unpunished, as a cop sees their reckless driving and immediately pulls them over. With the new Florida law, the backpacks had to be legally escorted to jail, where they finally learned their lesson. I feel that i did a good job executing what was happening in the story even with no text boxes. I did this by making the backpack's faces very expressive, you could almost hear what they're thinking. I do feel like some of the shots weren't necessary for the plot line, more just to accumulate slides, but apart from that I would say we did pretty well.
